A new single Person Credit was introduced in the latest Finance Act.  It has replaced the One Parent Family Tax Credit from 1 January 2014.  Tax Credit Certificates for 2014 are being issued to taxpayers whose PAYE deductions may be affected by this change.

Where Revenue has enough information, the new credit has been given automatically and is included in your Tax Credit Certificate.   Read the information included on the Tax Credit Certification and the accompanying letter carefully and check that the Certificate is correct.
