Minister Hayes announced this week that farmers can receive the Single Farm Payment and the Forestry payment on the same land.  The announcement means that farmers can plant their land safe in the knowledge that it will not affect their Single Farm Payment.   This is great news for the farming sector especially those farmers who are holding off on their decision to plant until they receive greater certainty.  For more information click here
